Max & Bella
Max
Max has been in his new home for over a year now. Although he was a
pretty sick boy when he came to the Boxer Rescue, he is doing
beautifully. All his allergies are under control without medication.
His personality has blossomed, he getting quite muscular from lots of
hard playing with his sister Bella and his other boxer buddy Sunny.
Sometimes when we go to the vet's office, the staff don't call him Max,
they call him 'Handsome'. Max likes lots of one on one with his people
friends too, he loves to play catch, ride in the car with the top down,
and helps me do errands on the weekend. Whenever we go out and
people offer him biscuits, he won't take them but I put them in my
purse and then while I'm driving, Max goes through my purse and eats
all the biscuits! Max is the best dog, probably in the world. He and his
buddy Sunny are almost identical twins and Sunny's owner always
kids us that she is going to swap dogs. I don't think so! I'm never
going to part with this boy.

Bella
Bella has also been in her new home for more than a year now.
She is so affectionate and always wants to cuddle but put her
in with Max and Sunny and she definitely can hold her own.
She keeps those boys in line. Bella is deaf but she catches on
very fast and we have our own little sign language going. She
had some training with a real dog trainer to help her focus a
little more when we walk and she did beautifully. Bella has
been a big help around the house. I think maybe she wants to
be a service dog. She was helping me make split pea soup a
couple weeks ago but somehow the peas ended up on the
floor rather than in the soup. And then there was the kitty
litter. I think she was going to clean the kitty box for me but
the bag of kitty litter gave way and we had about 20 lbs of
kitty litter on the floor. They just don't make those bags like
they used to! I do spoil my little girl and can tell you she
loves the sleep number bed!
