when he was hit by a car, and his owners could not afford

Update (6/10/2008):

Brody had his pin removed from his femur on Monday (June
8th) evening. The bone looks great except for a small area that
hasn't healed yet. Dr. Scanlan thinks that it is because of the pin
being in the bone for so long. Brody is on serious bed rest for
the next two weeks and than another x-ray will be taken. If the
upcoming x-ray shows that the area of the bone is healing than
Brody will be able to go to his forever home soon. Brody has
been a real trooper throughout his whole ordeal and managed
to stay as happy as he can be. If everything goes the way Dr.
Scanlan expects, Brody will be up for adoption in July. Brody
& MN Boxer Rescue can't thank all of you enough for all your
donations and love you have showed this lucky little guy.
