Hi, my name is Murphy and I’m the newest boy to the MNBR.
I’m about 6 years old and a big flashy fawn boy. I came to the
rescue from a shelter in Wyoming (the city, not the state!)
where I spent about 2 months. I now live with my foster mom,
dad, and sister.
I can’t tell you how happy I am now! Even though I’m what
people call a mature adult boxer boy, I absolutely love to run
and play with everyone. My foster sister does run faster than
me, but I’m much smarter than she is. I wait until she gets just
close enough and then I chase her! That game is tons of fun!
Don’t tell my foster mom, but I think I like my foster dad
better. Whenever he’s home, I’m his little shadow. I love to
cuddle and snuggle with him.
My foster dad says that my name is Chompers because when I’
m very happy, I chomp my jowls at him. I also do a very cute
happy dance when you say a word that I like (like outside or
treats – my two favorite words!). I have a few scars on my neck
and belly because I had surgery to remove a few lumps (don’t
worry – they weren’t anything bad). I think that they made for
a pretty cool Halloween costume.
So if you’re looking to add a sweet, active, and incredibly
loving boxer boy to your family, My adoption fee is $250.00. I
look forward to meeting you soon!

I would love to send another bit of "love" to Murphy. My husband
and I had the pleasure of having him over the holidays while
Lauren was visiting relatives... I have selfishly put off posting this
or adding to his bio because I secretly wanted Lauren to adopt
him"-) Sorry Lauren, but he melted my heart!
"Murphy came to stay with us for the holidays and he was our best
Christmas gift this year. He was an absolute sweetheart and the
best behaved pup we have had yet. He is an ABSOLUTE lover
and wants nothing more than to rest his big head on your lap.
Many pass him up because he "looks" to be a senior but I can tell
you he has the pep of a younger dog. I can't recommend a better
dog than Murph; I wish him all the best as he deserves a family
that will love him as much as the love he gives back."
