Hi there! My name is Lucy and I'm just a young girl who has had a rough
start. I was turned in to an animal shelter and was very, very hungry. I
had some puppies too, but I'm going to have surgery to take care of that. I
was so underweight that you could see all of my bones, but after some
TLC (and some good food) the shelter called a rescue to see if they could
find me a new home.
I'm a very affectionate little girl and I really love kids. It takes me some
time to get to know other dogs and I sometimes get a little defensive. I'm
learning to play with my current fur foster family. I don't mind cats
though, I just give them a quick sniff and I'm on my way. I LOVE to play
with toys and especially a tennis ball! I am crate trained, potty trained and
I even know lots of commands like sit, shake and down. My mom that I
live with now tells me that I'm like a little gazelle when I run and jump
around, but I have no idea what a gazelle is (I hope that's a good thing to
be like). I'm a very obedient little girl that would love a new family!
