Hello and happy summer time!

My name is June..or June Bug as my foster mom calls me. I came into rescue on May 9th with my breeder husband, Johnny (now called Slim). I am only about 2, but I sure had my share of little pups in that short of time. I'm so glad I can just be a puppy myself now and not be all "responsible"! My mom uses these words to describe me: adorable, cuddleBUG, stinker (when I 'toot' or when I steal a shoe), and doll baby. I REALLY like toys and I love to play tug-of-war with my foster siblings-three other boxers! I need to be crated when mom is gone, cause, like she said, I can be a stinker! Everything is so fun to explore-the house plants, mom's shoes, anything really! I am doing good at potty training, but I still have a couple mistakes! I'm looking for a family who will give me lots of love and lots of exercise!

From foster mom:
Hi there! June has come a long way in less than two weeks. She has gained 6lbs and is looking healthy. She quickly learned unfamiliar things like walking on laminate flooring and going up and down steps. She was treated for hookworms and ear mites and will need another check up around June 1st to see if I she is all good to go. She leans toward alpha girl, so she needs a balance pack of fur-siblings and owners that understand the importance of being the pack leader of this somewhat stubborn breed we all love!!!! She is full of energy and is the cutest little loveBUG. Her snout is a little more smushed in, so she is a little less tolerant of the heat than my boxers. She loves to be outside, but will need to make sure she gets rest, water, and sunscreen if outside for longer periods of time.June is a very special girl...you meet her...you'll be in love!
