My name is Grace and I’m a very lucky girl to still be here to say
hello to everyone.

I’ve had a hard start in life, I’m a 6 yr. old girl who was used a lot
to make boxer puppy’s, I can see why they wanted to use me if I
do say so myself I’m very cute and sweet.

My owner didn’t need me anymore for  making puppy’s so that is
how I found MN Boxer Rescue.

While I was in my new foster home the first 24 hours I was there I
got really sick and had to have emergency surgery to fix my
stomach it flipped itself, but luckily they could fix it with the
surgery and it shouldn’t happen again.  While I was having the
surgery the people at the vet spayed me so my puppy days are
over, they also found a tumor on one of my mammary glands and
they removed it and sent it in for a biopsy, I’m still waiting to hear
what it is.  I’m still recovering, and after I’m feeling better I will
start to learn some basic dog things like going outside to go potty,
I’ve never had to learn that because I’ve never been in a house
before, I’m really liking laying on the soft carpet it feels much
better than the hard cement.

I live with two foster fur brothers and they have been showing me
the ropes about how dogs act.  They have these really cool things
called toys and I’m really starting to like them a lot, the things
called treats are new to me and I haven’t found one that I’m crazy
about but I think my foster parents are going to keep looking.

Please keep checking back to see how my recovery is going.
Thanks for reading about me.

My medical bills are up tp $3100.

Update***

Grace is such a sweet and loving girl.  She has really come out
of her shell in the time we’ve had her.  She is now potty trained
and acts like any other dog, loves to play with toys and other
dogs.  Knows how to walk on hardwood floors and stairs aren’
t scary anymore, and that couch and human beds are very
comfy.   If your looking for someone to cuddle with she loves
to snuggle right into you.
