Dear Eva's HUGE FAMILY,
I know now that Eva is staying with me and Jewel to teach and help us as
much or even more than we are here to help her...the name Eva means
"Life" - she is doing a great job of teaching me a thing or two about life...it
doesn't matter what you have been through, you can always find space to
shine and faith to love.
It's only been d a y s since Eva has been here - she comes prancing and
bouncing with body wiggles to greet me at the door, not quite sure yet how
to attach. Instead of leaping and boxing she circles and wiggles and does a
dance but is still obviously scoping out whether or not she should make
the leap of faith to fully trust...she sure shows love though.
The way into Eva's heart is her newest sister Jewel...she trusts her. They are
quite the pair! Jewel - miss fearless, nutty, wild, confident, care-free
MEETS sweet, gentle, careful, nurturing Eva...it works. Eva has now begun
to LOVE her walks, bouncing and prancing with alert and excited ears and
I have recieved countless comments about how c A L m Jewel is behaving.
They are like medicine for each other. It's very cute. And if Eva is unsure
of someone but Jewel is allowing love and pats, usually Eva cautiously
approaches to get her share of love and chin scratches too.
We are a very happy family thanks to our new addition Eva. And thank
you to everyone out there who helped heal and love our Eva. She is doing
so well, eating more and more, getting stronger every day and has the most
beautiful shiny and soft coat...she is stunning.
