Meet Eleanor!

Eleanor is wonderful older gal looking for her forever home. Eleanor was rescued from a puppy mill so we really don't know how old she is. It looks like she has had a tough life. She has obviously had lots of puppies, but those days are done. She loves her fur brothers at her foster home. She plays with them, running, wrestling and boxing. She is sometimes unsure about meeting new dogs, but will do fine after a proper meeting.

Eleanor is a real lover. She loves to hug and cuddle and gives very sweet kisses. She will sit in your lap if you let her, or will sit next to you if that is what you prefer. She can be kenneled but that is not necessary. She can be dependably left in the house. At night she is happiest sleeping in the bedroom. She will sleep on the floor and in the morning loves to come up in bed for a snuggle. She is very well house broken. She is fine on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She is fine with cats and ignores the bird in the house. She stays close by, she is not a runner.

Eleanor could live in a house with or without other dogs. I would not recommend very small children for her because sometimes she plays a bit rough. A funny note about Eleanor. She loves it if you stay with her while she eats. She seems to li ke the security of knowing you are there with her. All her vet work is completed and she is ready to go to her forever home.
