Casper is a very sweet girl. She came to us with kennel cough and it pretty much zapped all of the enegry out of the poor girl. She is currently being treated for kennel cough and everyday since she started her antibiotics she has become more energetic and playful. She is 9 months old, very smart and willing to please, she just needs to be taught. She is playful when we are outside and when it is appropriate, but is still trying to get a sense of when and if she is allowed to play. She loves to snuggle with her humans and her foster siblings, she loves attention and would love to be the baby.
She is very good at entertaining herself and will toss a ball or toy around and chase after it, it is very cute and funny to watch. She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES our perennial garden and would spend hours sniffing, digging and hiding bones if she could. She also loves to pick the cucumber leaves off of the vines and chew them and spit them out. We have nicknamed her Cucumber.
Casper is hard of hearing. She does respond to some verbal commands, particularly to a strong, loud man's voice. We are working on hand signals and although she doesn't quite understand them yet, she is very smart and catches on quickly.
