Hello all, my name is Bullet, but around here they call me Little Bill or just Bill. I’ve had kind of a ruff start in life, I’m a youngin and I have been thru a lot of homes so far. I just have not been able to find the perfect one for me yet. I am a very cuddly boy; if you let me I will sit in your lap all day and snuggle with you, I LOVE THAT A LOT!!! I am fine with kids, cats, guinea pigs, and dogs-just don’t like those dogs that can’t control themselves and just want to play, play, play all the time. Don’t they know there is more to life than playing-sheesh! I have some allergies too, my foster mom is working on trying to figure out what I am allergic too but till that gets figured out I am on special allergy food that comes from my vet. So at my new home, I would have to have this special food too. If I eat yucky dog food I get a belly ache and then you know what happens. Lottsa poop in places you don’t want!
I would like a home where my peeps are around most of the time. I don’t like to be left alone very often; I tend to get very anxious if I’m alone too long. I understand you gotta go to the store or the doc or out to dinner and a movie, but I don’t want to be left alone for 8 hours everyday. Also, please don’t think that you can just put me in a crate and I will be fine. I have been known to tear a few crates up in the past and get out. In my foster home, my foster mom has been working with me on my separation anxiety and my stubbornness. I forgot to tell you that I can be stubborn, ok my foster mom made me tell you. I’m getting better, but I still don’t like some stuff and probably never will, all I know is that my foster mom is the boss so I have to do what she says. Cuz if momma aint happy then there aint no one gonna be happy!
I am Bullets foster mom; he has been here for a couple months and is doing wonderfully here. Once we got over our first few weeks with Bullet and his stubbornness he has turned into the most lovable and cuddly boxer boy you could ever ask for. Bullet has been through a lot in his short life so far, I don’t know much about his past but I get the idea that he didn’t have a very good start. Bullet does not like to be left alone and he isn’t fond of crates either. He gets out of most of them and then has been known to wreck stuff in the house when he gets out. Bullet will need a home where you are home a lot of the time. A family that works Monday thru Friday and is gone eight hours a day will not work out for him. I have been working with Bullet on his crating and he can be left alone for short periods of time a few times a week. Bullet also needs a home where he will have a STRONG and PATIENT human pack leader and other dogs that he can hang out with is a plus for him too. Whoever becomes Bullets furever home will need to understand that it may take him a few weeks to adjust to you and trust you. In this first few weeks, Bullet will push your buttons and test you to see how far he can go, so you will need to be patient with him and love him during his adjustment to a new life once again.
