At my new foster home I am having a ton of fun!!! I love to run around and
play with my foster brother Bruno. In my old home I had a fur sister, I would
love to have a playmate at my forever home. I don't like to be the only dog.
My foster mama says that I am a very good boy. I know how to sit, stay, shake,
come, and lay down. I am working on "leave it" and "release", I am pretty
smart so I think I can do it. My foster mama wants me to learn these too
because I have a human foster brother and his toys look like mine, sometimes
its pretty confusing to me.
The first night in my foster home my foster dad took me out into the yard and
showed me the area where us dogs do our business. Its in the far back away
from all the kid toys and the "playground". I know that's where I go potty and
stuff and I have not gone anywhere else but there. My foster brother Bruno
showed me how to tell my foster mama and dad that I need to go to that area. I
go to the back door and I touch a mark with my paw. It really works too
because then one of them comes to let me go outside. I do the same thing when
I am done and want to come back in...Thanks, Bruno that works really good!
The only thing that I don't really like is this big thing called a dog bed. Its at
the foot of my foster mama and dads bed. I guess that I am supposed to sleep
on it, but the big bed is way more cushy and warm.
Well I will tell you more later, Bruno and I are going to go watch for the
mailman!
Blue
Hi! This is Megan, Blues foster mom. He really is a great joy to have in our
home. Very gentle with our 7 month old son and we are working on the toy
issue. He is a very alert and active dog. I think he would do best in a home
with another dog that would want to play. He has a lot of good energy. I have
noticed no bad habits (other than him wanting to sleep in the "big" bed). He
has done well in the crate and he loves to ride in the car.
Thanks for reading about him!
Megan
Hello! My name is Blue, I am a 5 year old brindle boxer.
I came to Minnesota Boxer rescue after my family
surrendered me. 2 dogs and 2 babies was 2 much for my
old family.
***Update***
So I have been with my foster family for a bit now and I thought it was
time to update my potential adopters on what I have learned. I am
getting much better on not jumping up on the big bed. I almost never
do it now, I just look at my foster mom with my big sad eyes and say
please can I come up? She says "No Blue, stay down" but a guy can
try right...I love to snuggle with everyone and I now know the
difference between the baby toys and my toys. I still think that I need
to go to a home with another dog, as I really like to play.
Will you be my forever home?

I also love to lay in the sun and play outside, playing fetch is a great game, and my favorite thing of
all is to snuggle and give kisses!
I might be 5 years old, but my mom tells me that really isnʼt old for a boxer like me! Donʼt be fooled
by the number, I donʼt act like an old man, and my heart is still a puppy.
Will you be my forever home?
